Paint Recycling on 4/28

As you are cleaning out the garage and seeing those old cans of paint you’ve been meaning to toss? Put them aside for recycling with AES!

Take paint cans to the circular drive behind the school, pay the fee and just leave them behind. And you’re done. It’s that easy!

The school will make a small amount of money on each recycled can of paint. Later, other nonprofits will benefit by receiving recycled paint for projects, and you also helped the environment and the school. Sounds like a win/win/win. PLUS, AES is having a Car Wash at the very same time and place. More here.

Other good reasons to recycle the paint: All of the paint ends up in our facility in Lithia Springs, Georgia where we separate, bulk, and filter the paint to turn it into a quality, reusable paint product that can be then donated back to communities right here in our state for beautification projects. The City of Atlanta presented us with a Proclamation in June 2013 for our ongoing support of the Graffiti Task Force as well as our support of artist along the Beltline. March 2014 we made our largest donation to date while working with the Calhoun Women’s Club to distribute quality paint to nonprofits throughout Northwest Georgia, including Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Armies, Boys and Girls Clubs, United Ways, schools and churches.

Interested in receiving a paint donation? Email requests to us at and be sure to include proof of nonprofit.
